is enough to reconnect

A real moment

Tuesday, 8:52 p.m.

The house is finally quiet, and the day replays anyway.

The group chat turn

When the chat goes mean, goes quiet, or goes on without them. What to say, and when it's time to step in.

The friendship flip

The best friend who vanished over a weekend. Help for the heartbreak you can't fix from the kitchen.

The after-school shrug

What to say in the first ten minutes, when 'fine' is all you get.

The sibling fights

What all that fighting is actually practicing, and how to lead it without becoming the full-time referee.

The morning rush

One sentence that lowers the temperature before anyone's out the door.

The bedtime spiral

A two-minute reset for the nights when everything comes out at once.

These are the moments we build for. Not the highlight reel, the regular Tuesday.

You're not supposed to already know what to do in these. Knowing where to bring them is enough.

What's inside

Support for your kid's whole day, and yours.

The Home Path · with Bridget

The complete Steady + Connected Parenting™ series: seven full workshops, from The Filing Cabinet to The Discernment Gauges. How kids decide what their moments mean, how to stay steady when it's your own button being pushed, repair that works in both directions, and the questions that get real answers instead of 'fine.' The whole library is open from day one, and every workshop comes with its own workbook and a Words to Keep sheet.

Leah Anne Borrell

The School Path · with Leah Anne

Videos from inside the building, starting with how to email the teacher (the four parts), the parent-teacher conference playbook, telling the school about a diagnosis, and the 504, demystified. Each with its own printable, from the person who trained the teachers. Coming next: homework without the fight, the portal, getting organized, and the lunchtime nobody talks about.

Workshops, recorded and kept

Every workshop we run is recorded and stays in the library. Watch at 9:40 p.m. in your kitchen, with the handout, as many times as you need.

Live events and guest sessions

Live question and answer sessions with both of us, plus guest sessions with the people we interview on the show. Replays included.

The Question Box

Advice about 'kids' isn't advice about YOUR kid. Drop your real situation in the box, as messy as it actually is, and hear it worked through in a live session or a short video. This is the heart of the house.

Words for hard moments

The Scripts Library: more than 30 packs of exactly-what-to-say for the moments that need words . . . the after-school crash, the group chat that turned, repair after a blowup, the teacher email. Full scripts, ready-to-send texts and emails, and a one-page cheat sheet in every pack. Plus Keep Your Middle Schooler Safe Online, Bridget's complete course, previously sold on its own, arriving in the house this November.

The Home Path with Bridget: seven workshops listed from The Filing Cabinet to The Discernment Gauges, each with its own workbook and Words to Keep sheetThe School Path with Leah Anne: four videos listed, from how to email the teacher to the 504, demystified, each with its own printable
The Question Box: a three step timeline from writing your question exactly as it happened, to both of us reading it, to your answer within two days, with a note from Bridget and Leah AnneAlso inside, included with membership: The Scripts Library, more than 30 packs of exactly what to say, covering the after-school crash, the group chat turned, repair after a blowup and the teacher email, plus Keep Your Middle Schooler Safe Online, Bridget's complete course, arriving in the house this November

Real Relationships in an AI World

How to help your middle schooler have them, and how to make sure you stay one of them.

Tuesday, November 3 at 9:30 a.m. PT, live in the community, with the replay kept inside. Taught from both chairs: the clinical side of why kids bring their feelings to a chatbot, and the classroom side of what AI is actually doing to learning, from the teacher who has watched it arrive. Bring your own kid's situation to the Question Box ahead of time, and we teach to the real questions in the room. Members only, and the first of many.

Doors open October 14 . . . join in October, and you're in this room live.

It was never a one-person job. You were never doing it alone. You just couldn't always see the people doing it with you.

So we gave the village a door.

The people in a kid's corner

One kid's day takes more than one grown-up.

CO-FOUNDER · THE PARENT COACH

Bridget holds the home hours: the pickups, the standoffs, the doorframe confessions, and the parent living through all of it. She holds a law degree from Stanford. She holds a master's in marriage and family therapy, with thousands of clinical hours alongside couples and families. That includes advanced clinical training in neurodivergence, which shapes everything we build here.

Leah Anne Borrell

Leah Anne Borrell, M.Ed.

CO-FOUNDER · THE TEACHER

Leah Anne holds the six hours you can't see. She taught in classrooms for ten years, mentoring future teachers in her own room along the way, then spent fifteen more years teaching future teachers as a university lecturer, preparing more than a thousand of them and coaching them in real classrooms and through their first years on the job.

The teacher on staff

Every parenting platform has a parent coach. Ours also has a teacher, and that is not a nice extra. It's half the job. Your kid spends half their waking hours at school, in a world with its own rules, its own language, and its own doors. Leah Anne taught in that world for ten years and spent fifteen more teaching future teachers, and she knows how to make the school side actually work for your kid: the email that gets answered, the conference that tells you the truth, the support plan that travels from teacher to teacher.

She is also why this house can take on the hardest new topics. When we teach Real Relationships in an AI World in November, you won't just hear a parenting perspective and a clinical one. You'll hear the person who has watched, from inside real classrooms, what AI is actually doing to how kids learn.

The kitchen table is half your kid's day. The classroom is the other half. This is the only membership built for both.

The Reason All of This Exists

Your kids

Everything we make starts with one belief: kids do well when the grown-ups around them feel steady. When you're supported, they feel it, in the car line, at dinner, at the hard moments.

What we believe

Steady grown-ups raise connected kids.

Kids don't just live through their days. They caption them. “That hurt” can quietly become “I'm the kind of person people leave out.” That's the job: not preventing every hard Tuesday, but making sure no hard Tuesday gets to write the story alone. Built on Steady + Connected Parenting, Bridget's approach to the home side, and Make Them Your Favorite, Leah Anne's book about how a room should feel.

Built for all types of brains, on purpose. Bridget holds advanced clinical training in neurodivergence, so everything here is built knowing that ADHD brains, anxious brains, and highly sensitive brains experience friendship, school, and family differently, and deserve help that fits.

A year of being held

Imagine having . . .

. . . somewhere to put the question you can't ask at pickup. It's Tuesday night, the door just slammed, and the internet is about to make it worse. Instead, you drop it in the Question Box the way it actually happened . . . and within two days there's an answer about YOUR kid, by name.

. . . a teacher to ask first. Before the conference. After the email that made your stomach drop. The week the grade slides. Someone who taught for ten years and spent fifteen more teaching future teachers, telling you what the school side really means, and what to send back.

. . . a workshop waiting at 9:40 p.m. The night you realize the eye-roll is winning, the library is already open . . . the exact workshop for it, watchable in a bathrobe, with nothing to fall behind on.

. . . a porch full of parents in the same season. Nobody needs the backstory explained. Somebody else's kid did the same thing on Thursday, and the grown-ups here compare notes instead of panicking.

. . . two people who know which kid is yours. Not a forum of strangers. A clinically trained mom raising her fourth middle schooler, and the teacher who trained the teachers, in the room with you all year.

That's the membership. Not a course to keep up with . . . a home that holds you for the year.

October 14 to January 11

The Founding Season

So Glad It's You opens October 14 and celebrates its grand opening on January 11. The three months between are the founding season . . . the house at its smallest, built around the families already inside. Here is what founding members get all season, in writing:

Home Office Hours · with Bridget

Extra live hours all season for the home side of middle school: friendships, phones, siblings, the shrug, the slammed door. Bring your actual week.

School Office Hours · with Leah Anne

Extra live hours all season for the school side: the teacher email, the conference, the grade dip, the 504. Bring the draft, and we'll shape it together.

Every question, answered by one of us

Through January 11, every single Question Box question is answered personally by Bridget or Leah Anne. Not a moderator. Not a maybe. One of the two names on this page.

Your first season, mapped: a timeline from October 14 when the doors open, to day one when you move in, to the November 3 live workshop, to the January 11 grand opening, with extra office hours and personal answers all season

January 11 isn't the day the answering stops . . . it's just as far ahead as we're willing to make promises in writing. And founding terms are the best this house will ever offer: founders keep theirs for as long as they stay.

We set the founding year at $199 on purpose. That's 54 cents a day . . . about the cost of one single hour with a family therapist, for a year with both of us in the room. Help only helps if a family can actually keep it.

Good questions

Questions parents ask us

Who is this for?

Parents and teachers of kids in roughly 5th through 9th grade: the on-ramp nerves, the whole messy middle, and the off-ramp into high school. If a child looks to you, you belong here.

My kid's brain works differently. Is this for us?

Especially. Bridget holds advanced clinical training in neurodivergence, and around here a different kind of brain is a different experience of friendship, school, and family, not a deficit and never an afterthought. If your kid can hold it together at school and falls apart with you, that isn't disrespect. Home is where the stakes feel highest, and we build for that instead of against it. The scripts, workshops, and answers are built with ADHD kids, anxious kids, and highly sensitive kids in mind, and the Question Box means the help you get is about your kid, not 'kids.'

Is this therapy?

No. This is parent education and community, not clinical care. Bridget's training is clinical . . . a master's in marriage and family therapy, thousands of clinical hours with couples and families, and advanced training in neurodivergence . . . but what you get here is that lens on everyday family moments, in plain language. If your family works with a therapist, this pairs beautifully with that work.

What happens the moment I join?

You land in our private home, watch a five-minute start-here, and the library is yours: all seven Steady + Connected workshops, the School Path, the scripts. Drop your first real situation in the Question Box the same day, and your first live workshop, November 3, is already on the calendar.

What do I actually get?

The complete Steady + Connected Parenting™ workshop series from Bridget (seven workshops, open from day one), the School Path from Leah Anne (videos from emailing the teacher to the 504, with more on the way), every future workshop recorded and kept, live events and guest sessions starting with Real Relationships in an AI World on November 3, the Question Box where you ask about your own kid, the Scripts Library (more than 30 packs of exactly what to say), Keep Your Middle Schooler Safe Online (Bridget's complete course, previously sold on its own, arriving in November), and plain-language articles. It lives in a private online home (we use Circle), on your phone or laptop. Founding doors open October 14 and close October 25; founding members pay $199 for the year and keep that price for as long as they stay, or $29 a month.

What's the founding season?

The first chapter of the house: October 14 to January 11, when we celebrate our grand opening. All season, founding members get extra office hours on both paths (home with Bridget, school with Leah Anne) and our personal guarantee that every Question Box question is answered by one of us, through January 11. That isn't a countdown to less . . . it's how far ahead we're willing to promise in writing. And founding terms are the best this house will ever offer: $199 for the year, kept for as long as you stay.

How much time does it take?

Most of what we share takes five minutes or less. It fits into days that are already full.

Do I need to be good at this already?

No. You just need to keep coming back.

Where do I start?

Join the Founders' List and you'll hear the morning the doors open. That's the whole first step.

What if it's not for us?

The 14-day money-back promise covers both monthly and annual plans. Your 14 days start on October 14 or the day you join, whichever is later. If it's not a fit for your family, email alicia@sogladitsyou.com and we'll refund you in full. No hard feelings, no questions.

The internet is full of parenting answers. This is a place where somebody knows which kid is yours.

Not more noise. Between the two of us: ten years teaching, fifteen more years teaching future teachers, thousands of clinical hours, and 105,000 parents who follow Bridget's work. Just the next small, doable thing.

“Every kid deserves at least one adult whose face changes when they walk into the room.”

Bridget & Leah Anne

Every door a kid walks through should have someone on the other side who's glad it's them.

At 6:47 a.m., that someone is you. At 7:50 a.m., it's a teacher. At 8:52 p.m., it's you again, in the doorframe. We built this place for you.
